The Wendell Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2026 Wendell Classic on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Wendell Country Club.

Register as a Sponsor or with two or four golfers.  We again expect to have over 100 golfers participating.

Food on the course will be provided by Woodpile BBQ, Parkside Restaurant, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Chick-fil-A.  This is always a favorite part of this exceptional networking event and we know you will enjoy these tasty selections!

Backswing Golf will also be providing us a Professional Golfer who will give you the opportunity to play for pride and win prizes!

Oct 3    2026 Annual Harvest Festival
The Wendell Chamber is celebrating the 98th Annual Harvest Festival!!!

A Fun-filled day for the entire family! 

Over 150 craft and business booths will be setup in downtown Wendell on 3rd St. and Main St.
RAIN or SHINE we will see you Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The Harvest Festival parade will start at 10am downtown, followed by performances in the Town Square, such as dance performances and much more. The afternoon will include a nacho eating contest.

The Kid's Village includes a giant slide, obstacle course, face painting, games and activities.

A wide variety of food trucks and local restaurants will provide you fabulous food and beverage options!

The live music concert by The Embers will top off the festivities from 6 pm until 9 pm!

Registration for booths of national brands is limited to one vendor - with priority going to Wendell Chamber of Commerce members (ex. Norwex).  There is already one Scentsy and one Mary Kay consultant participating, so no more registrations for these brands are permitted.

Fees/Admission: Registration for booths of the same kind for specific national brands is limited to one Vendor.  Priority will be given to Chamber members, then to past Harvest Festival participants and then to the first business registered (ex. Oct 3    2026 Annual Harvest Festival Food Trucks
24 Food Trucks will be part of the 98th Annual Wendell Harvest Festival on October 3, 2026!           12 HOUR FOOD TRUCKS SOLD OUT!

Trucks will be positioned in two areas, as they were in 2025:
  • Up to 12 food trucks will be positioned in the Women?s Club Parking Lot, between 2d and 3d Streets, adjacent to Cypress Street.  These trucks will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, when The Embers will stop playing.  The trucks must use local electricity to power themselves.  No generators are allowed in this area.  The cost to be in this location is $350.  Town Public Works Staff will be available to help with electrical connections Friday afternoon from 1 to 4:30 pm to assist.  They will NOT be available Saturday.
  • Up to 12 food trucks will be positioned on West Depot Street.  These trucks will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Main Street will be reopened at 6 p.m.  There is no electricity available in this location.  Generators or other self-power must be used.
  • REGISTRATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE HARVEST FESTIVAL IS NOT CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION.  YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IF YOUR APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IS ACCEPTED AND THEN PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.  ACCEPTANCE WILL BE BASED ON SEVERAL FACTORS, INCLUDING MEMBERSHIP IN THE WENDELL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, PREVIOUS HARVEST FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION AND TYPE OF FOOD OFFERING.
  • If possible, trucks should be positioned the afternoon of Friday, October 2nd.  Trucks must absolutely be in position no later than 7:00 a.m. October 3rd.  There will be much more traffic in the area the morning of the 3rd, as over 100 other vendors will be getting into position at the same time. 
  • Prior to the festival, the Chamber will require a copy of either your permit or current sanitation inspection.

Oct 3    2026 Annual Harvest Festival Parade

Join us at 10:00 on October 3rd for the Wendell Harvest Festival Parade.  Lineup is at 8:30 for vehicles and 9:00 for marchers. 

The 0.6 mile Parade route:

Starts at the corner of 4th and Pine St. traveling west on 4th to Cypress St.,
turns left on Cypress go to 2nd Street,
turns left on 2nd Street go to Pine Street,
turns left on Pine Street and returns to 4th Street.

Please communicate these rules to all the members of your parade entry:

  1. Vehicles that must be registered in NC and must show a current copy of their vehicle registration before entering the parade staging area.
  2. Any parade vehicle driver must be at least 25 years of age and must show a copy of their current state-issued driver’s license in order to enter the parade staging area in a vehicle.
  3. Any group that includes marchers, a truck and a trailer will be required to have marchers follow the trailer.
  4. Any vehicle that does not require highway registration in NC must be approved by the Chamber of Commerce for participation in the parade at least 48 hours in advance of the parade.
  5. Any golf cart in the parade must have a current registration with the State of North Carolina or a current permit from the Town of Wendell.  Golf cart drivers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
  6. Candy CAN be tossed from floats; you MUST HAVE 2 adults walking along each side of the float. Floats without 2 adults will not be allowed to distribute candy.
  7. Check in for all entries will be located at 4th and Pine St. (Park & Ride lot) at 9 a.m.
  8. All float riders must stay on the float until the end of the parade route.
  9. There must be a responsible adult on floats where children are present.
  10. No squirt guns, water squirters or other similar item(s) are permitted. If found, they will be confiscated and not returned.
  11. No vehicles will be allowed with loud mufflers or engines.
  12. All participants must follow the instructions of designated parade officials.
  13. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately 1 hour.
  14. After check-in, vehicles in the parade must have a licensed driver with the vehicle keys always present.
  15. It is the responsibility of parents/adults with children participating in the parade to make all necessary arrangements for pick up on 4th street where parade line up took place.
  16. A fire extinguisher is required to be on every float for safety reasons.
  17. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on any parade entry at any time before or during the parade.
  18. Know the parade route and listen to all parade officials and Wendell Police officers.
  19. All music must be family oriented; you will be asked to turn off inappropriate music.

This event is designed to simulate field shooting for both the expert and novice, Lunch will be provided and awards will be presented.  Perry's Gun Shop is our Presenting Sponsor for this event!
